A Place to Belong is a family-owned Adult Day Program for adults with developmental disabilities based out of Denver, CO.

We not only strive to provide quality service to the I/DD community, but we also hope to create a day program that serves as a second home; a place where individuals can freely express themselves, find a sense of purpose, and enhance their self-autonomy. Our initiative aims to develop and fortify social skills and lasting relationships through daily engagement with small groups, as well as offering chances to socialize with peers beyond their agency.

“Our mission is to support our friends at A Place to Belong to be their true, authentic selves and encourage their independence. ”

“A Place to Belong means no one gets left behind.”

What does a typical day look like for our Day Program?

Activities

Our friends who attend A Place to Belong’s day program are always looking for fun and exciting things to do! Each month, there is a brand-new calendar with lots of fun outings to participate in. Our friends get chances to vote on outings, activities and are always jumping feet first into new experiences!

Uncertain if our Day Program meets your needs?

We provide free trials! These trials help everyone feel at ease when beginning a new day program and allow our staff to understand each individual need before officially starting. At A Place to Belong, we prioritize the comfort of our participants and their families, aiming to make the onboarding process as seamless and stress-free as possible.

Where are we Located?

A Place to Belong is based out of the Denver/Thornton area in Colorado. Currently, we do not operate from a fixed base location. This approach allows us to optimize our time spent in the community. Our day program staff conveniently pick up clients right from their homes.

“We are so thankful to God for the opportunities he has blessed us with, and we hope to make an impact in their daily lives just as they have indefinitely in ours. “
